Whitey the killer cat! (daughter was 4 when she named her) She is a tad over 8yrs old now, we adopted her off a farm when she was a kitten. She is a manx, and thusly has no tail.

I've been meaning to start my own killer cat thread for some time, this cat of ours routinely brings in birds, mice, and roaches. I'm the only man inthe house so it's up to me to play clean up and get out. Almost everything brought to us is alive in various stages of death so somethimes they get dropped and then run, others time they lay there sucking in their last breaths.

The kill from tonight! 11/4

Just the other day.. I watched my cat follow a sugar ant (freaking tiny ant) and kill it. I was thinking, "Damn.. my cat is precise."

I've owned about six cats (never more than two at a time).

You watch them 24/7 to make sure they never bring their kills in the house?

I don't know about cats (and the reason why I don't like their independence)... but for my dog, it is watched like a small child whenever he goes out.

a good practical joke from your friend would be to put a big roadkill in front of you house, like a deer. it would be funny. hmmm i should try that.
