The other day, like usual, after my friend and I are done with everything, I go over and sit down to talk with him. Only this time, I sit on his desk. A few moments later, my teacher tells me he took off points for not being in my seat and for sitting on my desk. He normally doesn't penalize for being out of a seat as long as you go and sit in another seat. So basically, he penalized me for both.
Anyway, each time he takes off 1% from your final grade, so if you had a 91%, it would be a 90%. He took off 2% from me because I broke two rules (sitting on a desk and being out of a seat). He gave us progress reports today, and I sa w numbers on it. I asked what they stood for, he said they mean I broke rules. Now, to get those 2% back, I have to write a 1000 word essay for each percent, making it 2000 words total for me. I have to do this because my grade is like a 93% and a 91% brings me down to an A-, making it put more pressure on me to do well because if I mess u on anything, then it goes down to a B or B+.
I asked what to write about, he said "kudzu." I came home, and search for it on encarta.msn.com. It turned up one good result and then I see it is free for MSN 8 subscribers. Agh, i'm really mad now. Anyway, I search on google and theres like only one website that actually has information, and not just sales information. I copied that twice, and then found some small text on encyclopedia.com about it. I've found it to be over 2000 words in Word so I printed it out, now all I have to do is HAND WRITE IT ALL.
You all probably don't care but 2000 words means many hours for me wasted because I didn't sit in a seat one day.
