They are not the same. There are definite shape differences (round v dookie like).

They do taste different. Cocoa Pebbles get soggier faster, but they have a slightly higher chocolate content.

Yeah. Pebbles are flat but crispy and round, very slightly puffed. Krispies are almost like slightly smashed smooth cylinders. Puffs are spheres.
