The same friend that sent me his used 3950x just sent this*:

I undervolt the card while keeping the power limit as it is. Most of these cards can get 10-15% extra on the core, which gives 5-10% extra fps in games.

I might not end up with the 3080 depending on what dude decides so I was hesitant to drop coin on a PS.

The 650w was great to use to test the setup. I was disappointed with the 3080 at first but it turned out the network was holding it back. Once I put the VR stuff alone on 5GHz with the router in the same room as the headset the 3080 shined. The EA650 allowed me to want the EVGA850

Should be much more stable with a properly sized PSU now.
