look to buy help find! opteron board

im looking for a Tyan dual opteron board with an AGP slot. Would appreciate it if anyone can point me in the direction of a site that sells this board or another one that is dual with an AGP.

The only dual Opteron board I have seen is the AMD one, NO AGP port, at newegg.com.
But they do have the nForce3 board with AGP port, but is only for a single CPU.

thanks for the help marlin, but i would really like to get my hands on a dualie with agp.. i know tyan has one but cant find the board at the sites that the company post at the "where to buy". ill try calling monday. They might have it but not posted on there sites.

I was under the impression that this board wasn't released yet. If you can find one, I'd love to know where (not that I could afford it right now, anyway...)

If you're talking about the Tyan Thunder K8W, I've seen it on Monarch Computer's website for $499. Monarch is taking pre-orders with shipping beginning 9/10.

MSI also has a dual opteron board with agp link
actually several board makers are releasing dual opteron with agp boards i was looking at the iwill board a couple days ago


but the only one ive seen in stock is the ARIMA HDAMB (AKA rioworks) it not a well known brand to most people, but they make high quality server and workstation boards.. here are some links to stores that have it in stock link and link2

sorry havent responded in a while, the Nvidia snafu caught my attentions then work got me....

thanks for the help, but i was looking for a board like the tyan k8w s2885 link, which has dual memory banks (8 dimm slots). thanks again for the help guys!

Some places seem to list it, but it's not in stock there. Other places you might look are listed here. Hope this helps.
