I'm building an XP 2200+ system on an asus a7v333 motherboard with 2x256 pc2700's. I'm just looking for a good 64 MB or higher video card. Doesn't need to be dual display...

thanks

Get an Nvidia Geforce4 Ti4200. You won't be dissapointed from what I hear...Or if you want something a bit cheaper, but will get outdated faster, get the ATI Radeon 8500.

At least a Radeon 8500.

A Rage Fury Maxx is not a good match for a top-line system. :p

Without knoing what your going to use the graphics card for it's awfully difficult to suggest anything.
What might be the perfect card for one user, can be near worthless for another.

In any cae, irrgardless of your uses pass on the Rage Fury Maxx. It's old, out of date, entirely unsupported under anything WinNT. You can get boards that are better in every respect for cheaper.

Beyond that I'll wait for a little more info as to your needs before I try to recommend any particular graphics card.

a good budget card would be the 8500 but if you want top of the line go for the GF4 Ti4200
