Look at this smearing on a BenQ fp241

I posted awhile ago about severe smearing/ghosting on a BenQ FP241VW. This is a panel I got back from an RMA. There is no way this much ghosting is normal. Would someone out there with a 241 please confirm there is something wrong with this panel? It is attached to a 4870, but does the same thing attached to an 8800gts. I've made a video that I've posted on YouTube so you can see the smearing in action. YouTube's compression makes the video a lot worse than the original avi, but the smearing is still obvious.

You can view the video here.

The colors are a bit off on the 2001fp, but the BenQ shouldn't be that bad with dark grays, right? It's very noticeable in any game where there are dark grays and blacks.

All I did was open up paint in Windows 7 and create a custom color that was dark gray. The default dark gray in Win 7 still ghosts more than it should, but not as severe. Let me know what you think.

That is really really bad. Watching your video made me sad as I can't imagine what it must be like to deal with a POS screen like that.

I have nothing to offer as a way of solution to your dilemma, but for what its worth the video absolutely perfectly communicates the issue, youtube does not get in the way of that.

Dam, I just know I'm gonna have nightmares tonight about my own screens ghosting like that...thanks.

I don't think it's that bad on mine...but I haven't really tested like that. I do play fps games on it and I don't notice anything that bad.
