Look at this pc I'm building and rate it

http://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic...c-help-400-500

Click the link and look at the first list of parts, the one with the Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card.

Are they all compatible and will they all work together?

I already ordered the case vindex listed.

What games do you think this can run, and the other list somebody posted this R9 270

What card would you go with R9 or the Gtx 750

Link fail. 🙁 Maybe try exporting and copying their BBCode?

A 750 (ti) is usually best in power-constrained situations. Otherwise, you frequently - though not always - want a more powerful AMD card such as the R9 270.

Dude, you are all over the place. You have 4 threads on this topic, in one of which specifically asked not to be told to build it yourself, and now you ask for advice on a build it yourself parts list.

Go with the rig recommended in your thread at the bottom of that page but substitute that GPU from R9 270 to R9 270X for just a bit more $.

Let's review again why this makes the most sense:

$500 with 750Ti rig (where 750Ti costs $135) = baseline performance = 100%

$510 with R9 270 rig (where R9 270 costs $145) => 24% more performance gives us a baseline of 124%

$530 with R9 270X rig (where R9 270X costs $165) => 40% more performance gives us a baseline of 140%

GTX750Ti vs. R9 270 vs. R9 270X

You see for only $30 more on top of $500, you get 39% more GPU performance at 1080p

In other words, when considering the price/performance of the entire system, spend the extra $30 for a $165 R9 270X instead of buying a GTX750Ti 2GB for $135. And since you also get a choice of 2 free games with AMD, for someone like you there will be something to choose since you are just starting PC gaming. The R9 270X is a no brainer here.

Yeah the 750 to seems to run Arma 3 real well... No need to spend more on the 270 I guess

Not really. 750 would be a slideshow. 750Ti ~ GTX480/570 which nets you 28 fps average, with 22-23 fps minimums.

R9 270X = 7870 = 35 fps average with 28 fps minimums.

Neither card is particularly fast but R9 270X's minimums = 750Ti's average.

And are you only going to be playing Arma3 for the next 2 years? Again, in other titles, an R9 270X is on average 39% faster than GTX750Ti. If an extra $30 is such a deal breaker for you, what are you going to do in 2 years when you have to completely upgrade the GPU? PC gaming is not like console gaming where you buy a system with a $150 GPU and can game on it for 5-7 years.

FYI, R9 270X completely maxes out your CPU in Arma 3. If you intend to play this game for a long time (3+ years), save more money and get at least an i5-4430, or otherwise your next GPU upgrade will be bottlenecked by the FX-6300. This games is very CPU demanding too.

Ram prices are pretty lame. I bought 8gb of DDR3 1600 almost 4 years ago for $50, now that same set is $83.

I'm having trouble rationalizing a complete new system built on AM3. No knock on AMD, but AM3 is so old. I mean if you already have a mobo or a CPU, sure, stick with it. But to go all new? I think an OCed G3258 would do nearly as well for far less money, and open the door to future CPU upgrades. I just built a relative a totally unbalanced system with a G3258 @ 4.0GHz on the stock cooler and a used GTX 770 I had laying around, and we have found few scenarios where it dips under 60fps in actual gameplay at 1080. I was worried because he likes BF4 multiplayer, but even on crowded servers he saw no reason to come off of "Ultra" quality settings.
