I'd imagine he's going to get hit with a cruelty to animals charge by somebody.

Edit: after reading the link, there's a good chance it's B.S.

so what, we live in a free country.

free does not entail an absence of laws. there has to be a law against this.

Damn he's sick. I can't believe I actually watched some of his wrestling stuff. The guy should be fed to the snake

why should there be a law against this? I had a friend with a similar snake who could eat large mice...It was a fun pet at parties and stuff. It ended up dying after her roomate fed the snake a mouse that was too big and his mouth basically broke open, but an animal is an animal...call me cruel and insensitive but to me but i dont see a problem with it. How does the act of simply doing it for profit make it so bad all of a sudden?

and for the folks calling animal cruelty...does not a mice feel pain? what makes this overgrown rat of a dog any more special than that mice? Because our culture regards mice as dispensable lab creature yet we hold dogs as sacred?

I won't click the link, but there is a major difference between a puppy and a "feeder mouse."

I think he is motivated by greed and this is a completely gratuitous and stupid act, but a snake I used to live with routinely ate 14-pound rabbits - snakes have to eat something, after all. I am against what he is doing but do not feel that the law needs to act to stop him.

first off, in california, animal cruelty laws cover all mammals... and i have heard of people going to jail for feeding mice to their snakes. afaik, if you want to operate within the law, you buy dead animals for your snake to eat.

secondly, why are you asking me this? if you want something to be done about it, get off your lazy ass and go lobby. i'm not the one who's going to change your laws...
