That's not enough for me. I'll believe DNF only when I've sat down and played it myself for several hours :p

I dunno if I'll believe it even then. But I'll give it a try anyway.

I won't mind if they release DNF, but I want them to break the decade mark with their development cycle first, so that means, what, 2007 at the earliest?

And really, until it's on shelves, stop reporting on it.

Looks like D3, nothing better (graphics-wise). I want bigger levels, much bigger. Not the close-compartment shoot-and-pass kinda thing that got boring fast in D3. I don't know if that's possible with the video cards we have today.

Ding ding ding, perfect reason for a developer to not use this engine. Here's hoping Raven software tries to restart the genre again.

Ok, I just got my edition. There is a little side bar about DNF in the prey article. One of the editors got to play it. :)

Not sure how the D3 engine does at large outdoor scenes...

Regardless, I'm sure there will be tons of tier 1 titles based on D3 tech over the next few years...and plenty from Unreal 3 and Source as well.

What are you trying to say? The engine that F.E.A.R. uses is amazing to say the least. I'm sure the game itself will do a good job of promoting it once it comes out.

No joke, I for one am looking forward to trying it out. If you watch the trailers and still aren't impressed, you need to get your eyes checked. F.E.A.R. has a lot more depth in the gameplay than D3 had, and it looks better. Check out Pariah too, that's better than D3 and it's on Unreal tech.
