i dont see much of a difference with the spider, but good work with the dragonfly.

OMG way to pump up the saturation too far. Everything looks fake! The Spider definitely looks better in the first pic.

(but I guess people did love their Digital Vibrance from Nvidia in the other thread....sad...)

I think the first pics look too...black and white...for lack of better description.

Oh and btw, sorry for the grain in the photos...like I said it's much clearer in the real pic. I had to compress jpeg (?) to get the file size small enough for uploadability.

Anyway I'm most worried about the spider pic, I wanna use that for a print (the dragonfly pic doesn't matter). Anyone else like the third spider pic?

Actually, I'd probably take the first spider pic & simply sharpen (or USmask) to pull some more sharpness out of the body of the spider. I don't think that pic needs anything else.

And to all those......."Ooooh, don't sharpen pics", folks............there's a smart way to sharpen and a bad way to sharpen.........this one will benefit from a good sharpening!!!

Leave everything else on it alone.
