view well done, are you concerned about the vcore at all?

Not really concerned about the vcore. At load she drops to 1.55, idles at 1.66 and is set at 1.6 in the bios.

Nice chip, what kind of ram are you using?

ATM I am running 2x512mb sticks of OCZ 4000EL. I have some 3500 o the way, and bought 2 sticks of Kingston ValueRam 2100ddr yest that are able to do 480. The OCZ is not being stressed at all since I usually run it with my 2.4c at 1:1 and 280fsb.

It uses less voltage under load... Wierd.

Sounds like a weak PSU to me, but if it's stable who cares?

Yup, typical Asus...

Anyways, I am using an Antec 550 True Control... they can go bad, but I hardly call that weak...

no ~ its typical ASUS vcore flux.

I've got the same thing happening on my IS7....the vcore voltage seems to drop when running prime95 When I set the

the voltage at 1.55 MBM reports 1.48v when running prime95.

I bought a 3.0C from a seller in the fs/ft forum, pretty sure its the same gent pastorjay purchased his chip from.

Anyway my stepping and batch code is :

SL6WK Malay
L325B230

If pastorjays stepping and batch is the same then i gotta hurry and buy that soltek sff and fire this guy up. 🙂

Let me know the week on your chip buddy!

awesome OC, makes me want to return to the Intel platform...overclocks like that are quite simply awesome, even more so on air!

The P4 using less voltage under increasing load is an Intel specification and can be found in any of the P4 datasheets.
