Ok I have a friend who has a Dell L-series 566 computer he tells me. Well, he's not too familiar with computers and I have not seen the system yet so this was done over the phone...
He bought a PCI version of a GF4 440MX. Interesting. I have asked him if he has an AGP port and he said yes ::scratches head::
He said he seated the card correctly in the second white slot from the right and turned the computer on with the monitor connected to the GF4. No display. Turns out the integrated video port still works and so I told him to switch the primary display in the BIOS from Integrated to PCI. He saves and exits. Upon rebooting and the monitor connected to the GF4, there is still no display.
So does anyone have any suggestions or possibly someone has a Dell computer and upgraded from integrated video?
