When I do a search for high voltage power supplies, the results come up as 10-40kV power supplies. I know this is insane, but I need a power supply that idealy would be ~600V, but could be 2 or more in series. To make it more interesting, it has to run off of a 110V wall outlet. ideally, it would be able to supply 1Amp +, but anything would be a good start.

If you have any insight, it would be much appreciated

i really don't see how that's possible(easily) i mean i don't know how much your circuit breaker handles, probably 15 or so......i say just make the thing yourself......get a fat transformer, a FAT FAT cap, bridge rectifier, and some voltage regulators......and blamo, you're good to go....heh, just don't blow anything up!
