WTF is a DA88?

Since I don't know, I suppose I probably don't have one. 😉

Tascam DA-88 Digital 8 track recorder. Uses Hi-8 cassettes.
The new model.....

Exactly...I need someone to dump a tape in raw form to a DVD....you can use a da88/da38 and probably the new da98.

I will pay to have it done...if I have to take it to a studio, it's gonna cost a ton.....

Anybody?

While much like your dad's old 8-track, it's not quite the same......

I have several friends with REAL studios. What is it you need to do? Dump 8 tracks to DVD? mixed, unmixed ?

Just raw....it's just a bunch of random crap from one of my bands when I was a kid.....I just don't have access to a da88....if someone would just dump it onto thier computer in 8 track format, then save the file as an 8track or as a "project" file......I can get access to most software.....I use cakewalk home studio right now.
