Longhorn is available to those on the beta. If your not on the the beta, don't ask here where to get it.

WinFS will be made available AFTER longhorn, not before.

the latest evaluation build of Longhorn is 5048 and was made available at WinHEC 2005. It's for developers only and is still only in Beta.

At WinHec, MS projected a release in time for Christmas 2006. Perhaps a bit earlier for OEMs. WINfs is dropped. Some features will be incorporated into Windows 2003 server SP2 and updated XP OS.

a) You read wrong.
b) Apply to join the beta program.

There are screenshots out right now from the latest build. However, MS is sending out letters requesting tehy all get pulled... the reputable sites will pull'em but they will be floating around elsewhere for a bit.
