I don't know too much about overclocking, but I am sure if you don't raise the voltage more than say .15V, .2V tops and stay under 65-ish degrees celcius, you should be OK and within safe operating limits. With stock cooling, heat is going to be your #1 battle so be sure to watch closely at your temps.

I haven't tried the new 9.0 version, but I have tried the older one, and while it works, it's kinda finicky. It also doesn't seem as stable, and it's a resource hog, too. Looks nice, though.

Yeah, I use Windows Classic with a plain gray background; it's non-intrusive, fast, and doesn't mess with one's perception of colors while Photoshopping (or Illustrating, or InDesigning, or whatever). :)
