Hey everyone,

I just got a copy of Longhorn build 4015, but when I try to install it on my desktop, it says after it has loaded setup files and restarted: Windows is missing hal.dll, or some message like that. It is present in the system32 folder, and I have done the Windows XP Recovery Console thing (Windows KB #330184) but that failed to do anything. It can't be a bad version because I did get it working on my laptop, but I need to use it on my desktop. I've tried formatting, but no luck.
Any ideas?

Can you say LOCKAGE???

I'll ask the obvious question. Are you a Beta tester and if so then why are you posting here instead of to the MS NGs

Warez are not discussed here... I hear the mods headed this way

The beta testers know where the proper ng's are...
