Currently have a Logitech black/silver cordless keyboard and mouse combo. Not sure the exact model, but I purchased for $60-$70 I believe about 1 year ago.
Anyway - they sit about 10 feet away from the base station, with the base station sitting behind me (I'm using these to control my PC hooked to a plasma display).
Reception is touchy at this position - I'd really like to improve it so that the mouse and keyboard would behave more consistently.
Is there anything with a longer range than the Logitech? I'm curious as to why the range is so short - many RF remote controls have 80'+ of range! I'm assuming maybe because there's more data being transmitted with the keyboard/mouse....
ANY help appreciated!
Thanks in advance...
Mike
