I've tweaked XP to my liking for the most part, however, there is one thing that I haven't been able to figure out, and it's been making me bonkers.
When I click on a directory in the "tree" on the left pane of windows explorer, it automaticly expands it and shows all the subdirectories on the left frame (even though I am not clicking on the little plus to the left of the directory name.)
Does anyone here know how to make it stop doing that? I only want to expand the directory if I click on the plus, or click on something within the directory.
So far I'm pretty content with XP, I only "upgraded" since I wanted to use Nvidia's DVD accelerator, and WMP doesn't play DVDs in 2K, I figure since that doesn't work in 2K, I'm bound to run into more applications that don't support 2K, so it was time to change.
I don't need any suggestions like "click the directory on the right frame, and then the left won't auto expand", as I am fully aware of that fact. Thank you.
