Aelus "Even though people are considered production materials, they are still people, not just some machine you can start and stop at any given time. I don't really like the current state of the western world where people aren't considered anymore valuable than robots, who are disposable because they might be able to increase their profit a bit."
It's a hell of a lot better then the terrorists strapping bombs on each other and blowing innocent people away.
Crap, you guys need a tissue. The world and the people in it, even with the damn terrorists, is in better shape than at any time in history. You two whiners saying the world sucks do not have a clue as to history or how people lived or were treated. I havn't seen a better display of teenage angst in a long time.
Aelus, people are production material. Fact, get over it. If you want to work for a company you make yourself valuable enough that you keep your job. A company is in the business of making profits, if they don't do that for long enough then no one works for them. If you don't want to work for a company start your own business and you be the boss. End of story.
If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at the terrorists that stuck last week. Their actions will kill more people than any company laying off people. Think about the economic downturn that is coming. Would you like to bet that people will die because aid budgets will be cut because of reduced govenment income. How much production will be spent on anti-terrorist activites rather than programs to improve education at home and abroad.
Save your anger for where it counts.
