So here is my problem. I am trying to convert an .AVI to a VCD like i have done 100 times before.
Usually the first step I do is rip the Audio using VIRTUAL DUB and save it as a .WAV

Here is where I am having my problem.
Even though the audio of the AVI is

Sampling Rate: 48000 HZ
Channels: 5(Stereo)
Sample Precision: 0 bit
Compression: UNKOWN (tag 2000)
Preload Skew: 2800 Samples (.58s)
#of Frames: 86290
min/avg/max/total frame size: 28/2335/2800 (196843k)

and I am setting up virtual dub the following.

AUDIO --> Full Proccessing Mode
AUDIO --> Conversion -->
Sampling Rate = 48000 HZ
Channels = NO CHANGE
Precision = NO CHANGE

Then I try to save and I get this error.
"The requested audio compression is not compatiable with the input format. Check the sampling rate and the channel count of the input and match those of the requested format"

Where I am going wrong? should i being going to AUDIO --> COMPRESSION
And change those settings? Right now they are on default. If so how would i know what to change them to?

Thanks!

...Compression: UNKOWN (tag 2000)....
That compression is ac3. You need Headac3he (?spelling) to convert it back to wav. You can look it up at vcdhelp.com or pm me.
