Long shot here, but anyone have a vid or name of type of race?

I saw a clip on TV a while back of 4 cars on a test track, 1 low end, 1 mid, 1 high and 1 F1 car. The VW for example would have a head start before the Vette, etc.

It was really neat, the cars had a lap head start on the F1 and it started and burned them.

Any info would be awesome, a video or at least the proper title (if one) for this type of race.
