long range wireless solution

i have taken both of my rigs out of their cases,mounted them on plywood, and have em hanging under my desk on chains. the point of this was to reduce case noise and the loss of space in my living room.
well it worked airflow is def not a problem and without 5-6 case fans blowing you cant even realy hear or see the 2 units. temps are at record lows 30 deg at idle for a oc xp2500 200 x 11.
in this continuing evolution i have realized that with my wireless i could have these puppys anywhere in the house and only have kvm to lug as a unit.
is there a way to get a long range keyboard mouse vid usb device that has a range of say 50 feet not line of sight. i could then be totaly liberated from the case and fan noise.
like i said it sounds crazy but imagine having no case etc to lug around. kind of like a tablet but dumber?
alrighty im imbarrased so please any input is apreciated like mounting ideas etc

As for a long range wireless keyboard and mouse solution, how about bluetooth? I am not sure the exact range, but it may be good enough. If not, Im sure there are some RF keyboard and mouse setups.
