Anyone know of anything like this? I need something LONG RANGE, 5-7miles. Is it possible? I heard they reviewed something similar to TECH TV earlier. Anyone know?

Over what medium? You will never be able to get 5-7mi over CAT cabling. I think the maximum distance for CAT5 or even CAT6 is on the verge of 150m. In our house, we had several upstairs cable runs for ethernet which were in excess of 500m in distance, which forced us to use multimode fiber.

What are you wanting to do? Cable or RF based? If you want to go with cable, then fiber is your only choice AFAIK. I'm not up to snuff on RF based ethernet technologies, but you can mount external antennas to increase your distance drastically. Since technology such as 802.11B runs at 2GHz (I think); at distances over several hundred feet, both unit's antennas would have to be in line of sight. If you don't have line of sight between the two places, you can forget RF ethernet when at those distances.
