Long pants or shorts?

Leaving for my vacation in Jamaica tomorrow. I've traditionally always worn long pants whenever I fly, just because the weather in either location can be unpredictable, and the temperature in the plane can be on the cool side. However, in light of it being hot as balls in both Philly and Jamaica, I'm wondering if I should just wear some shorts. What does ATOT think?

I would wear long pants. Too many strangers with bowel/kidney issues have sat on the seat before me.

shorts. Unless you have some verrrry light cotton pants (I think some manufacturers call it tropical cotton)

I'm both thankful and horrified that I know this information now.

Shorts. You'll fry in Jamaica in between getting off the plane and getting to your AC'ed hotel room or whatever.

I usually change at the airport, but then I've never flown south during the summer.

Good call. AccuWeather is calling for RealFeel temps of around 106F for the whole week. :(

I'm tellin' ya. A kilt's the way to go. Comfortable for walking, unrestrictive, and a breeze on your doodads. As a side benefit, black women really dig them, so you should get lucky in Jamaica ;^)

Jamaca may be hot, but the airport terminals and planes are well air conditioned. Wear long pants as you will likely spend more time in those places the first day.

When I'm heading on vacation, unless my point of origin or my destination are gonna be cold...I wear shorts.

When we go to Hawaii anytime after October, (because norCal is "cold" during those months) I wear jeans...and swelter when we get to Maui.

I voted wrong, I almost never wear shorts on a plane and will wear long pants even though I almost never wear long pants normally (unless I'm at work or wearing a suit).
