I need a new video card that will let me play WoW more smoothly, as it can get rather choppy in high traffic areas as you might imagine. I'm not looking for top of the line, just something that would make it more enjoyable to play WoW, which is pretty much the only modern game I'll be using this computer for. All else being equal, I would prefer ATI just because I don't want to have a disaster with drivers and software that havent been completely removed or anything like that, but if I can get more for the money from Nvidia I'll do it. What's a good AGP card that would be a decent upgrade? TIA
Also, does anyone know the fastest Athlon that my motherboard can handle? I can't seem to find any definitive info and I'd like to upgrade that as well.
