Long John Sliders..

how the heck can one eat so much crap...

i was hungry and on my way to fry's i saw one. I have never been to one but i have seen their ads. Since i am allergic to shirmp i got some chicken and fish fry thinge..

god that thing is filled with grease.. ugh!

i didnt even finish eating it..

atleast their fry's are decent.

edit: the last time i ate so much fried food.. i was in NC for a wedding.

You aren't missing much with the shrimp. It's tasteless and rubbery the last time I tried it.

You know they probably fry all the food in the same grease, that means it's got lots of shrimp juice in the chicken and fish also.

I've gotten sick every time I've ever eaten there, plus the service sucks and their restauraunts are dirty. I'll never eat there again.

Captain D's seems to be better...and at least they have a grilled menu now, so I can eat there when I have to.

I've eaten there once... got their buffalo chicken "planks" because I heard they were really good. Turned out that a chicken "plank" is a tiny strip of chicken (less than you'd find on a single wing) surrounded by a whole heck of a lot of fried doughy stuff. It was absolutely disgusting.

I usually dont mind having a greasy meal every now and then. I just wonder if they really use fish heh.

i'm sorry guys but i love to eat fishy grease with tons of tarter sauce.

Before I started my diet last year I use to eat there all the time.(there is one right across from my work). While the food is indeed greasy, I loved all of it. I'd get the Fish and Chicken platter and kill myself trying to get it all down. They certainly never cheated me on the amount of food I got. I still have cravings for those chicken planks but their batter=teh Evil. :evil:

hmmm i used to go there a lot.. i love long john silvers... they're fish is great.. I don't think it's anymore greasy than all the other fast food chains, and certainly not as greasy as your average beef meat patty burger.

heh i used to call it long dong silvers. never understood why my parents would laugh. at least not until i was older heh.
