Seriously though, I don't get the argument against using warning shots. This guy was not a trained soldier in the army fighting off enemy soldiers. He is a civilian dude trying to protect his property and family. He probably thought lethal force was warranted but couldn't bear the thought of actually killing another person.

Point blank means free sight but face make a better choice, point blank to the face would mean death, the neurocortex OR the cerebral cortex would get hit with the full force which would mean instant death.

You don't have to be a police officer to understand that in the end the safety of a person's own life and that of their family members is dependent solely on them and no one else. That's how it works in a free nation like the US. Its a called self-determination and free will.
