Ok Just got my phone bill and it is over $75.00 this month. I have been making calls to another city that is about 30 miles away and am getting charged .20 cents per minute under my current plan. it gets better in the evenings but is still too high..

I have been thinking of switching to one of these cut rate plans offered by Power net global, Opex, Unitel, Capsul... Any one had any luck with these types of plans.. They all seem to good to be true. Low rates

Thanks in advance.

Just buy a phone card at Sam's Club or Costco. Call anywhere for 4 cents/minute.

Walmart has them too but the cost there is a maybe 5 cents.

Holy crap, dude, check out BigZoo. Either 2.9 or 3.9 cents a minute pre-paid (depends on whether or not they have local dialups in your area), they can call you or you can call them.

Awesome deal I've been using BigZoo.com for over a year now and have probably saved thousands of dollars!

Does anyone know what 1-700 phone number I need to call to verify my current long distance carrier?
