Long boot up time on SATA

Hi, I upgraded from an EIDE hard drive to a SATA a while ago but for some reason it takes a very long time to boot into windows. I know it shouldnt't take about 3 odd mins r so because I made another computer for someone with a SATA hard drive and the boot up time on that is less then 30secs.

My system:
Athlon 64 3200+
Asus A8V-E Deluxe
80GB Seagate SATA
200GB Maxtor EIDE
ATI Radeon X850XT
Antec Sonata II
1 GB OCZ Value RAM

System I built for someone:
Athlon 64 3000+
A8N-E Deluxe
80GB Seagate SATA
Nvidia Geforce 6200
512 MB Kingston Value RAM
Antec Sonata I

Both the sockets are 939 and the hard drives are not set for RAID neither the RAID is enable.

Would really appriciate if someone could help out with it.
Thanks
