Ok so heres the problem: I had this happen to me before but after turning off my computer and then repowering it, it worked fine. Now, it seems that it doesn't want to power on past the Post screen. The last thing I was doing was surfing the net.
I have done these steps:
1. Completely powered off the system and waited for 20 minutes.
2. I reseated the heatsink.
3. I reseated the CPU.
4. I reseated the videocard.

Please post if you can help.

The beep sounds like this: BEEP-BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*snip.
It is a continuous beep after one small short beep.

AMD 64 3200+ Skt 939 - MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum - 1 Gig Mushkin PC3200 Ram - 9800 PRO

I have checked my motherboards manual, and to no avail, I came across nothing about beeps. I have checked online though and have found out it quite possibly could be my ram.

I unplugged the power to my pretty much everything. I reseated everything. I have no idea what the problem is.
I know the VGA is fine. I do not know if the ram is an issue since I tried them in many different combinations in the slots and nothing happened. I also reset the CMOS.

What else is there to do?

I am going to my friends house to swap out parts Thursday.

I figured it out. Really I can't explain what I did to get it to work since I have no idea what I did. Anyways, I did everything like I said previously. I took out my other PCI adapters. I then waited for like 1 hour (When I say wait I mean watch Futurama and Family Guy). I then came upstairs watched some more TV. Then I put in my WiFi and Soundcard, saw that my keyboard cable was partially in, so I plugged that in. I was planning on just putting my computer together so I could take it to my friends. After I did that, I was like what the hell so I gave power to this beast, powered it up, and watched it load Windows. I was like, "What the hell?" I still really have no idea what I did.

But I'm happy it works.
