I saw a small posting on the wall at the library that there is a computer show at the Long Beach Convention Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I dont remember the exact hours, but I do remember that they were running them LATE!

I think like 8 or 9 at night.

hardwarejunkee: If you get more info please post it. I checked the Convention Center's Event Calendar (on their site). The only thing it says about next weekend is a closed meeting for the International Association of Jazz Educators. :p

If this is like the Computer Clearence at McCormick place and (I thought Rosemont Center in Chicago), stay AWAY!!:disgust::disgust::disgust:
It was sponsered by "World Discount" somthing..This I think..
I went to it about a week ago, because they adverised (tv and posters) 100's of computers' and $5 playstation games..
1 person selling junky machines at full retail, another selling junk software, and the rest clothing, slot machines, and other garbage.
It was $5 at the door, all I got was a sausage log and a $20 wallet.
:disgust: The ticket was marked "Internet Show".
I'm not sure if this is the same.

More info >>>> Supercomputer Sales, Long Beach, CA

Admission $ 9.00. Also, don't forget parking about $10. :Q

Went to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (formerly Rosemont) at Chicago, IL last Friday. You'll find lots of new and old/junk stuff.

I don't know about this computer show, but we already have the granddaddy of all computer shows at the Pomona Fairplex every 3 or 4 weeks. It's huge and a large percentage of the vendors have B&M stores where you can find them for returns etc. I'd rather spend $10 getting into the Fairplex knowing that there's going to be 3 - 4 times the vendors.

Not trying to crap on your thread hardwarejunkie, but I would be a bit leery of a one time show that might be attracting dog and pony vendors from all over the country who you will never see again.

No, I'm not a vendor, just a satisfied customer.
