I just finished reading all 28 volumes of this manga classic.

It was such a great series. Great art, great storyline, great character development. Not suitable for younger readers though.

I also enjoyed the the 6 movies they created based upon stories in the comics.

A question for those who read through the entire series - what was your interpretation of the ending? I have a few ideas on what the ending meant but would like to hear what other people thought.

Are those comics worth anything? I know I have the first issue that I bought back in 1988, but I might also a few of the issues after the first.

I haven't read the manga but as a kid my parents would take me and my brother to the asian theaters in LA to see the LW&C movies, along with the Run Run Shaw / Shaw Bros. chinese sword & sorcery movies. My parents had great taste in movies 😀

#1 appears to be worth about 4 bucks.

Griffin1 - I don't think those are worth too much. They go on sale at ebay often. Dark Horse released all 28 volumes over the last few years.

Dave Simmons - yes, you parent's had excellent taste!
