I'm glad you enjoyed York. I've been a couple of times and think it's one of the coolest cities I've been to. Ancient Roman walls, medieval streets in the Shambles, the walk up to York Minster from the train station, the national rail museum, the walk along the river, etc. Anyone who just passes by while on a vacation is really missing out in my opinion.

do a comprehensive budget for food....then double it. London is a beautiful city, just pricey and nobody there is actualpy english...
