My sister was there when the bombs went off. on a bus a few minutes away about to go to the subway.
Anyone else know someone that was there?
 
yeah, my in-laws are over there working on consulting assignments... about 20 miles from the one of the sites.

we heard from them very soon after we heard about the attacks...

 
I have some friends over in Ruislip. They had emailed me this morning before I'd even heard about the explosions.
 
i woke up to my other sister freaked out because of my older sister being over there. and commuting on the subway at the time of the explosion
 
I'll be flying to London on business this Sunday. I'll be there for a week and a half. A bit concerned, but I think I'll be safe.
 
I don't. What I thought was odd is that this made me almost as angry as someone bombing the U.S., but I don't remember caring at all about the Madrid bombings which killed 6-7 times more people. And I don't even care for the British that much.
 
and chrisms, you probably didnt care becuase it didnt happen to us. i didnt think much about it either, other than there are some crazy people out there killing people for no good reason.
