London England/Dublin Ireland

Ok mates, what are some good hotel bargains in Dublin or London? I've convinced the lady to see a wee bit of Europe such as I have, but I am not familiar with Dublin or London. A little help would be appreciated.
Thanks chaps!

Both are very expensive. I stayed in University housing/hostels, so I can't offer any helpful advice regarding lodging. Dublin is pretty much as expensive as London, though.

To be honest there isn't much to see in Dublin anyway, though it's very easy to get there cheaply from London. I've heard that Galway is a much better destination in Ireland. If you do decide to go to Dublin, make your way to St. James' Gate. 😀

London's okay, but it's very crowded and expensive. Go and see Cornwall, Devon, Norfolk or Wales- they're all nice places to visit.

Take a day trip and wander around Windsor for a day - some nice places to see and some really good pubs for a bite to eat

Anyone who says London is anything but exciting is boring themselves. The city of my birth, and my favourite place to visit yearly. There's loads to do, and this all depends on your interests. Whether it's history, culture, or shopping, London has something to offer for everyone.

PM with what you guys want to do and I'll offer loads of good advice.

London is anything but exciting, for me. Too crowded, too expensive, noisy, polluted....

Yes, it has some fine examples of tourist attractions, but it also has some fine examples of bonkers road systems and overcharging for simple things like drinks.
