Someone posted in my class (about writing a paper):
> How would you cite information found online?
and the teacher responded:
Dear students,
This question has come up a couple of times. If you are using online sources,
you should of course use quotation marks in your text for the quote " " then in
a footnote (placed at the end of the sentence) refer to the online source in
the following manner. There are different types of formatting in different
disciplines, but this is enough for me in this class.
For instance for a web-site on Gandhi:
1) "Gandhi's life" available at {http://www.xxx.com}
CLIFFS: don't use http://www.xxx.com as an example for a website
