I've held off updating my N7, but it appears that Google has now finally got the bugs worked out. It runs great on my GS5, and I'd like to see how it'll do on my tablet. Anyone made the jump yet with their N7, and if so, how goes it? Thanks.

The latest OTA (5.1.1.r6) really makes it smooth. I'm very happy with Lollipop on my N7 with it.

It's been worth having since the first 5.1 update. It's only gotten better.

Hmm. Reading this I just might go ahead and finally download it on my 2012 Nexus 7 running KitKat.

2012 N7 is another beast. I can't speak to that.

I would like to think it's still better, just because of a more mature ART and the general stability 5.1 brought, but I don't have any experience with the 2012 N7, just the 2013 model.

Unless you're running a custom 5.1.1 ROM with F2FS, I'd consider just sitting pat if your N7 (2012) is working fine.

My N7 (2012) is doing fine with a custom ROM but lots of people say their tablets were a lot slower.
