I overheard a conversation of somebody in another team on my floor. He seemed to be a manager-type. Apparently, one coworker in his team was distraught because her ex married another coworker in the same team. She doesn't want to go to the wedding so she's taking time off work and telling her boss to tell others that she's gone on a business trip.
