lollapalooza

wanted to go sooo bad. then again, i also wanted to go to Ozzfest and Family Values. The money never materialized like i wanted it to though 🙁.

I did not, but a couple of my friends did. I just felt that as there were only a couple bands that I was slightly interested in, that it was too expensive.

Went in 92 and 94.
92 was the best concert ever, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Ministry, all during their rise to fame and at their peak. RHCP had Blood Sugar Sex Majic, Pearl Jam had just released 10, Soundgarden had just released Badmotorfinger, and Ministry was just going crazy...

I can't see a lineup like that one for a long time, this was at the peak of the grunge movement.

so 3 bands played crazy
gnarles barkley
raconteurs
mates of state

nickel creek covered
nice dream from radiohead
toxic from britney spears

That was a cool show, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden came out after they played their individual sets and played some Temple of the Dog at the one I went to. I also loved seeing Primus play at the next years lollapalooza.
