Nice hit piece. The DOT-111 is not a rolling bomb. How many oil laden DOT-111s roll each day? Statistically speaking they are relatively safe given the # of accidents, the # of accidents where a derailment occurs, the # of those that result in an explosion, and the # of those that could have been prevented by head shields, double hulls, and reinforced top/bottoms. It isn't a huge number.

As far as Keystone XL, it's never going to get built and even if it did it'd never be able to deal with E/W traffic, just N/S.
