I have a gmail rule that sends anything with the word facebook in the address, subject, or body of the text directly to trash. No problems now.

No, after their last update they've been spamming the hell out of inboxes with this kind of crap. Now my smartphone app keeps nagging me about importing my contacts as well, and I can't figure out how to disable that.
