Yeah so basically I'm trying to teach myself the other features of Photoshop besides photo editing, and I came across a little digital painting tutorial. Well I'm an "aspiring artist" myself 🙂 🙂 😀 and I thought that would be a good skill to learn. Read through the tutorial, seemed pretty simple so I gave it a whirl.

Took a lot longer than I thought.

And this is all I came up with

4 layers - background, outline, armpaint, and glovepaint. Used mostly the brush tool, lots of smudge, and some burn/dodge.

It actually came out better than I expected, so I'm happy.

😀 😀

It's not supposed to be sharp...and I really didn't spend too much time bringing out the detail and outlines, most of my time learning the tools.
