Hard to miss this but thought I'd report, and I found it quite amusing tbh. 😛

know what think I do recall this last year. Some odd programming in the back end causes it to go wacky when the year changes, can't see how though, should be using unix time stamp and date() function.

Made my computer crash since it was a little under load....
So Jan. 1st is the default date...
What a surprise

LOL, happens every year (since fusetalk). My laptop/firefox almost shits itself trying to load the initial forum screen.

Hehe, memories of last year when this crashed FF for everyone. At least FF 3 can load the forums this year !

I was wondering why it was taking 20 some seconds to load when going to the main forums page ...

It's because the default birth date is January 1st. Anyone who didn't change their birth date is showing up today.

I thought I'd been banned. 'Server too busy' seemed like it was too passive-aggressive for the mods, though.
