lol, wtf.

I agree with your friend. I hate Metallica's music. I really really hate when a local rock station here in town has their Mandatory Metallica of 3 songs every nite around 10pm. I switch stations.

Here's a shcoker. THEY BOTH SUCK!

Metallica was goog when they were new, now all they are is a Disturbed clone. Anyone see the MTV or VH1 show on the making of hteir latest album? Lars even says it. "We shoul mimic what is selling". METALLICA SUCKS.

And Disturbed was good when htey were new also. A new sound is all thoguh. So, DISTURBED SUCKS!

i like to listen to older metallica 🙂 pre 97 of course.

latest metallica CD is god awful!!1!

That's definitely the first time I've heard "pre 97" used to refer to older Metallica. It should be pre 91/black album. But, of course, you were what, four or five in 1991? 😛

Yes. But a bass guitar is a guitar.

Music is subjective dude. Granted, I would probably shake my head in disbelief and punch the person in the throat if they ever said that to me, but you know what? I'm not much into Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath, two crucial bands for a metalhead. I don't deny they were groundbreaking, they're just not my cup of tea, so I can understand if someone likes Disturbed better than Metallica. Metallica is more mature, complex music whereas Disturbed is up-front, heavy metal. Maybe they just go for that instead.

ur right to laugh, metallica used to be better
fixed

The fact is, I hated Disturbed before I actually listened to their latest album (never heard their first one). I like it. Unlike many of you, I don't feel the need to say they suck just because I'm supposed to say that.
