OMG!

Step Ten: make an ass of yourself.

That turned slowly turned from painful to funny between the 3 and 4 minute mark, not because the process is in any way amusing, but because it kept going... and going... and going.

I'm still undecided on the techno music.

Why did he have to open up the cable modem?

What does it do?

Allows you to upload modified firmwares and rate files to your cable modem. (essentially uncapping your modem is possible and easier this way)

I've done it before (back in the ol' days with the SB4100 series using TFTP servers and such) and it'll be pretty obvious. I was pushing over 3Mbps (this was when 500kbps was my ISP's fastest package) so I stuck out like a sore thumb on their monitors. :p

Not sure how much more I can say before the Mods on the board will get after me! ;)

Dear lord, I could solder better than that when I was 10.

He's lucky he didn't rip the pads up.

At least his tip is tinned.

lol I love this video, so dramatic.

Yeah, I was waiting for a nice hole to appear in the board. If I could piss solder, I bet I would have done a better job at lining up the points and connecting them than that guy did! :D

BUYER BEWARE IF YOU BUY THE KITS AT THE WEBSITE! :p

WTF? Did he accidently solder them all together?
Yeah I don't understand what he's doing that for. It looks like he's purposely blobbing all the pins together.
