Im watching Total Recall, and realized that in these days, its a comedy.

Lets take the scene when Douglas Quaid first went to visit Melina. The music that played in the club sounded like something out of Final Fight soundtrack. I loled. How bout you?

Yea bro, those old skool movies kick ass. I laugh at them too nowadays but when they first came out it was the most serious/action packed movie ever. It's weird cause I don't think they will ever find action guys like Arnold, Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Segal, etc.

Aren't most of Verhoeven's movies like this? Robocop, Total Recall, Starship Troopers. A great mix of comedy, violence, gore, profanity, and social commentary.
