I've never heard of that, but I'm not suprised. SA isn't exactly clean material, and some of their banners can be bad... People who cruise this forum from work could get in trouble.

I remember reading a mod write "Do not post links from that 'awful' site."

So nobody thinks the picture's funny? I almost peed myself when I saw it. Everyone at work thought it was great.

To me it looks like they took the X wing pilot's face and pasted it onto the cover of some self help book and changed the title. Why is that even interesting at all?

There was also another great Star Wars book titled "How to Rebelproof your Deathstar" by Dr. D Vader. One of the phrases on the cover was "What does fully operation mean anyway?"

Lisa Beamer's husband is one of the guys who tried to stop the 9-11 hijackers from crashing their flight. His last words on the phone were "Let's Roll."

Lasai Porkins is the fictional name of Jek Porkins (made up name) of the guy in Star Wars who's last line before blowing up while trying to destroy the Death Star was "Stay on Target."

I suppose if you don't get it, you won't get it.

I don't believe it's making fun of the tragedy. It's making fun of the character in Star Wars. It just stole the wife of heroic man idea and picture.
