If you were to watch it on you television at home, chances are you would get up and leave the house. I saw the sneak preview with my gf.

LOL!! Yeah I kinda hate Matthew Perry... Natasha Henstridge (sp?) is easy on the eyes as least...

My gf and I ended up getting in a huge fight over this. She had won tickets to the preview and I suggested she take one of her girlfriends because I had plans on going to the gym for a workout. Well, I ended up going and hated every second of the movie. Schindlers List and Passion of the Christ are more comedic than this movie is.

The first one was OK, clever and funny in places, and Henstridge is extremely easy on the eyes. Sounds like I should skip the second one though.

I heard a review on the radio about it and they were saying that if this is the final cut of the movie they did a piss poor job on it. There are scenes where you can see the film crew in the reflections of windows, and there is some bar scene obviously shot over a number of days because the clothes change and people are seated in different places.

Good thing I was never in danger of seeing it in the first place. ;)

Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry teamed up in a sequel to a crappy original and it turned out badly? Gosh, what a shock. I'd have higher hopes if Carrottop and Pauly Shore remade Ishtar.

The Whole Nine Yards (R) 2000
tomatometer - 48 %

The Whole Ten Yards (PG-13) 2004
tomatometer - 2 %

Think perhaps the R rating in the original gave the director more comedic license to do what he wanted? I saw the trailers a couple times throughout the fall/winter and it seriously looked unfunny. The reviews pretty much confirm my suspicion.

I thought Amanda Peet looked nasty in the previews. Natasha looked good though. I'll wait and rent this one.

I liked the first one, but the previews for the second one look qustionable.
